Who are mature women? 

Women who are now in their middle age belong to the category of mature women.

What is middle age? 

Middle age is the period of age beyond young adulthood but before the onset 
of old age. According to Collins Dictionary, this is "... usually considered to occur approximately between the  ages of 40 and 60." 

When we reached this stage in our life, while our face may not show it, 
it is still best to remember that there are some things, which are not age 

appropriate wearing that diminishes further our market value instead of 
increasing our net worth as a woman.

1.  Printed Clothes

Opt for plain colored fabrics. If you love prints, choose clothes with

smaller prints at the bottom or fabrics with embroidery. 

2. Revealing clothes

While plunging V-shaped necklines and micro-mini skirts to look sexy 

on young girls, they look obscene on mature women. They tend to 

reveal sagging and wrinkled skin.

3. Fluorescent colors

Fluorescent colors tend to appear too gaudy or jazzy on mature women. 

Hence, avoid them as far as possible. Sober or dark colors, and matte 
finished prints are better options.

4. Excessive makeup

Less is more when it comes to making up rules for mature women. 

Too much of makeup will make the wrinkles on your face more visible. 

Furthermore, avoid dark colors as much as possible..

5. Bling bling

Flashy or gaudy jewelry is not suited for mature women.  

Go for precious stones like diamonds or try pearls that will suit your personality. 

6. Baby doll tops or dresses

They are meant for younger women! Wearing them will add years to our age.

7. Dramatic tattoos

If you wish to have one, choose a design that is elegant and refined.

8. Strong smelling perfumes

Mature women are expected to be lady-like and feminine. Avoid using strong-smelling perfumes or a heavy cologne. Choose sweet or mild fragrances.

9. Transparent clothes

There is a difference between looking sexy and looking vulgar. 

Transparent and see-through blouses or dresses look ostentatious 

on mature women. Hence, they are a big “No." 

Wear something under, if you wish to be hip and fashionable.

10. Frills and furs

They are only meant for babies and little girls. 

What looks cute on them does not apply to us.

Beauty does not fade with age.  

However, in order to highlight that beauty, it is very important that you dress 
and act like your age. Still, the saying that beauty is in the eyes of the
