A Last Glimpse of an Unrequited Love

The last few nights, you pop into my dreams. I just can’t get rid of you like you got rid of me. Days continue to pass. Stars continue to shine. Why do I have tears in my eyes when you were  NEVER mine?
My unrequited Love, robs me of my rest. It is like a nightmare lying heavy on my chest. My ardent soul encumbers, weaving itself into my midnight slumbers. What a great love, it could have been, if only your eyes had seen. A love so pure and true, was the one I felt for you. However, love dies, if we don’t know, how to let it grow. It dies of blindness, of errors and betrayals.  It dies of illness, weariness and wounds. And when it dies, its time to let go of the very few memories of you.
Good bye to my unrequited love.
May you find Peace, Comfort and Happiness where ever you are!
