My Yuletide Whisper

Stress is everywhere, and  as we go through the ins and outs of this very chaotic and materialistic world, a  well disciplined mind is a must, to keep us afloat.

For centuries,  people searched for the real meaning of life, destiny, truth, discipline and inner peace.Yoga, the art of living, and transcendental meditation, had shown to have soothing, calming and healthy effects on the mind and on the human body.
Behavioral modification is a known effective therapy, to deal with the daily stress in life.  By expressing our gratitude to the Almighty when we wake up each morning, for the health and safety of our family and ourselves, for the home we live in, the food on our table, the job, we have is a good way to prepare ourselves. Our lives may not  be perfect, but we have to remind ourselves every day how blessed we are. A few seconds of bedside meditation, each morning alone will instill positive thoughts in our minds at the very start of the day, enough to initiate the flow of  endorphins, to make us feel good and happy.
Indeed, life is amazing, for dreamers, spectators and doers like us. So, let's enjoy the ride, before we wake up one day and realize that we have missed it all. While we have time, we have to think and take care of ourselves, and not only of our loved ones. We should also pamper ourselves every now and then. We should do things that we have always wanted to do, especially those that give us pure pleasure and joy, take the trips we dreamed, enjoy the wonders of nature, make people laugh, play with a child, and smell the flowers along the way.
Just don't forget my yuletide whisper, life is short...."eat the dessert first''.
