On Our 23rd Wedding Anniversary

Dearest Honey Bunch,

Thank You very much for being the love of my life, and the echo of my soul.  For accepting my past, and for sharing your life and dreams with me, I will forever be grateful with the love that I found in you. Thank you for the past twenty three (23) of  making me feel the warmth of a true love, your tender and loving care, unwavering loyalty and never ending passion. Thank you for bringing out the best in me and recognizing and enhancing my identity as a woman, as a person, and as a human being. Thank you for loving me for what I am, and for patiently bearing with my mood swings and my carino brutal. Thank you for being a wonderful and loving husband, an exciting lover, and a true friend.... my best friend! 
Thank you for making me laugh even at the most trying times. Thank you for being a loving, protective, and sensitive father to Janssen. Thank You too, for your understanding, and for the assurance that I will always be beautiful in your eyes despite the years.

In return, I promise to continue to  love you and to love you  more, even if your hair turns gray, and no longer the dashing gentleman I know. When the manifestations of aging has taken its toll on you, rest assured  that I will always be there for you.. 

I vow to care for you and to keep you in my arms in the many, many years to come.  I will continue to fight for you with full of conviction and even if there’s only – me – left to do so. Because in the last 23 years, I have seen your nakedness before God, the purity of your heart,  the honesty and integrity that define your being.
