Just continue walking

There are moments in our life that we have to be strong for ourselves.  We have to know that we are a good person and a good friend. Things that's meant to be will end up well and what’s not, won’t. Love is worth fighting for, only if we are not the only one fighting. At times, we must realize that we need another person to hold our hands to be able to continue the fight. If no one is there,  we just have to move on and realize what we gave them was more than they were willing to give us in return.

When the relationship is heeding in this direction, we just have to  continue walking alone, someday, somewhere along the road someone will come along and make our heart smile again. We just have to learn from yesterday, hope for tomorrow and cherish today.

When it's time to Let Go ?

The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can’t go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
It is always better to let go of the one closest to our heart  rather than to continue hoping that someday he will come again, and the fairy tale story will have a happy ending. More so, if he left and  did not say good bye but simply walked away.
Always believe, that somewhere there is someone that dreams of your smile, and finds in your presence that life is worthwhile, so when you are lonely remember it’s true, someone somewhere is thinking of you.
But, for now, it's best to just let him go...

A Sim Card's Tale

During my father's wake in Cebu, meeting relatives, I haven't seen for quite a while, was a pleasant surprise. However, it adds further to the pains of mourning, knowing the story of discovering a husband's infidelity through a "SIM CARD" that has accidentally fallen off  in the floor.
I can clearly see in my aunt's face, how  she is trying to conceal the pain, through her smiles, as more visitors came  to pay their last respect to my departed father.
I was speechless, listening to her story, knowing very well that her husband and mine are in the same profession and of the same capacity.
To me, it seemed unbelievable, but true. Things happened during the times, when we least expected it, and in the most unexpected places, and with the very unlikely person.
Indeed, in this world no relationships are an exemption to the continuous challenges in life. People change and so does feelings.
I just hope that time  heal her wounded heart and pray that the Almighty gave her the needed strength  to take everything in stride.
